Double-spending problem
The double-spending problem is a digital currency issue where the same funds can be spent more than once. This challenge arises because digital information can be easily replicated. Blockchain technology, as used in cryptocurrencies, solves this problem by ensuring each transaction is uniquely recorded in a way that prevents duplication.
